Garment Care

Blank goods last longer when you treat them like finished product — not disposable test shirts. Here’s how we care for V1 Blend garments and what we recommend to your customers.

Wash

1. Turn garments inside out before washing.
2. Use cold water and a mild detergent — no bleach.
3. Wash similar colors together; black and white should not share a first load with heavy dye transfer risk.
4. Skip fabric softener on print-ready surfaces if you plan to decorate — it can affect ink adhesion.

Dry

Hang dry in shade for longest life. If you tumble, use low heat. High heat accelerates shrink on cotton and can dull reactive blacks over time.

Storage

Fold knits — don’t hang heavy hoodies on thin wire hangers long term. Store away from direct sun if you’re holding inventory before production.

Pre-shrunk vs. expected movement

Our blanks are pre-shrunk, but cotton still moves. Expect minimal shrinkage if care instructions are followed. For critical fit programs, always wash one sample before cutting a bulk run.

Care: Wash cold, inside out. Hang dry or tumble low. Skip bleach. Follow the care label on each garment for longest life.
